It’s September 1st, which means hockey fans cue up the great song from local band Green Day, “Wake Me Up When September Ends”.  With that, the influx of hockey tweets and social media posts, mean we are so close to the opening of training camp, which leads to preseason, and eventually Wednesday, October 7th, the San Jose Sharks’ 25th season opener in Los Angeles.

As us Finatics are eagerly counting down to the end of the #IsItOctoberYet posts, the Sharks unveiled plans to celebrate the team’s 25th Anniversary Season.  First of all, CSN California, along with its sister networks, NBCSN and NBC will cover all 82 Sharks games.  71 will be on CSN California with Randy Hahn along with Jamie Baker as his color analyst.  During home games, Baker will be “Inside the Glass” providing insight along the boards.  Of course Sharks Pre and Postgame Live will be anchored by Pucknology’s unofficial BFF, Brodie Brazil with a number of studio analysts throughout the year.

For those heading to the games, Themed Nights, Alumni Nights, Poster & Mini-Locker Giveaways highlight the home schedule.  In all, 16 of the 41 home games will be highlighted by an Alumni Night or a special giveaway night.
