Breaking: Patrick Marleau Reportedly Pursued By Unknown Team

Per Elliotte Friedman and Damian Cox of Sportsnet, Patrick Marleau is being pursued by an unknown team. They reported this during the second intermission of the Bruins vs. Canadiens game on Hockey Night in Canada.

In the report which can be seen here Cox definitely stating the obvious that Friedman was being very careful with his words.

It is very rare that Sharks talk leads Hockey Night in Canada segments, and for Friedman, who is well respected in the hockey community, isn’t too far off with his comments.

Marleau, who has a no movement clause, has not been asked to waive his no movement clause, per Friedman. Marleau is in the middle of a 3-year deal, and has family based in San Jose, including his wife who is a Bay Area native. “Patty” is the proverbial “Mr. Shark” leading the team in almost every career offensive statistic in Sharks history and is three points away from 1000 in his career, all in teal
