San Jose Sharks Look to Bounce Back Against Wild

San Jose Sharks Host Surging Minnesota Wild

After a bitter overtime loss against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night, the San Jose Sharks look to bounce back against the Minnesota Wild. The Sharks placed Matt Nieto on waivers yesterday, who was then claimed by the Colorado Avalanche today. San Jose will also healthy scratch Mikkel Boedker, who is still stuck on just two goals this season. The right winger has been struggling to put goals to the back of the net in what has been his worst season in his NHL career.

The Wild have been red-hot of late, with a 12-game winning streak before losing at the hands of streaking Columbus Blue Jackets.

While Minnesota is currently a healthy team, the Sharks have a few injuries to deal with. David Schlemko has an upper body, Marc-Edouard Vlasic is still recovering from taking a puck to the face, and Tomas Hertl is still dealing with a right knee sprain.
