San Jose Sharks Begin Four-Game Road Trip in Buffalo

San Jose Sharks Visit Buffalo to Start Four-Game Roadie

After a disheartening loss at home in the shootout against the Arizona Coyotes, the San Jose Sharks embark on a four-game road trip starting against the Buffalo Sabres, a team that they have — for whatever reason — not had much success against. They have only won twice at KeyBank Center (formerly First Niagara), the second time being a 2-1 win in overtime on Nov. 14, 2015.

The Sharks sent down Kevin Labanc and Tim Heed and called up Marcus Sorensen, who is set to make his NHL debut tonight, along with Joakim Ryan.

As for injuries, the Sharks’ Joonas Donskoi is out with an upper body injury. Dylan DeMelo is out with a broken wrist.

Sabres have taken a little bit of a heavier toll, with Cody McCormick out with a blood clot, Johan Larsson with wrist issues, William Carrier dealing with knee issues, and Zach Bogosian out with a broken rib.
