Sharks Look To Bounce Back In Nashville

The San Jose Sharks come into Nashville on day two of a back to back looking to rebound from their last five losses, especially last nights massacre from the stars, all five losses coming  in regulation as well. The San Jose Sharks held a sizable and comfortable lead and had the division all but clinched until the skid, now they battle with the pacific contenders all with a shot at the division. This game is huge, this game is big for San Jose to get on track and keep pace with the surging Anaheim Ducks who are tied with the Sharks currently for first place. Last time San Jose and Nashville met the Predators, the Preds edged out the Sharks 3-1, one coming with an empty net. Currently they’ve split their season series at one game a piece and both have been fast paced and a little chippy between the whistles, probably because of their close and intense seven game series in the playoffs last year. Look for both teams to come out hard in the beginning, hopefully, as they both could use the two points morally and statistically, in the standings that is. This game is what the Sharks need to use to spring back on track and surge into the playoffs, if they can’t get back on track it could be an early than expected playoff exit.

In other news, Jannik Hansen returned from injury last night against the Stars and is expected to play tonight as well, Marc-Edouard Vlasic is questionable (Lower Body) and Melker Karlsson also is questionable (Lower Body). The Predators have just one injury which is Mike Fisher who is questionable as well with a lower body.
